    Presentation

As with last year, a special Gala will open the Paris Opera Ballet’s new season with two contemporary works and the magnificent Défilé du Ballet. This unique rendez-vous features a ceremonial that brings the Étoiles, the Premiers Danseurs, the Corps de Ballet and all the students of the Paris Opera Ballet School together on stage. The stage is opened all the way back to the Foyer de la Danse offering a dazzling show that also pays tribute to the architectural prowess of Charles Garnier. As part of this exceptional evening, the choreographer Crystal Pite is presenting her first creation for the Company, alongside a new work conceived by William Forsythe in July 2016 for the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet.
